Understanding the workouts that burn the most calories prior to beginning a weight loss process is vital.

Aerobics give a great “bang for the buck” when it comes to calorie burning exercises according to research. Calories are expended as your body moves constantly, which is the important part of this exercise. Aerobics is based primarily on different dance forms. Aerobic exercise works predominantly on the heart muscle but as the heart pounds harder and heartbeat increases the body requires more energy and starts to burn fat. Burning 500 calories a day is necessary if you want to lose one pound of weight a week. Aerobics will burn off around 7-11 calorie a minute, the variation being on how stimulating the exercise is.

Kick boxing is a good calorie burning exercise as well as being enjoyable. One hour of kick boxing will burn between six hundred to twelve hundred calories. Again, the variation of the calorie burnout is caused by the weight of the person exercising and how hard and fast they move.

Two other quick calorie burning exercises are running and jogging. You can use approximately 400 calories an hour running, and approximately 350 calories an hour jogging. You should be able to run or jog on a daily basis, and this will allow you to use additional calories, depending on how hard you work.

Eating well and maintaining a healthy, low calorie intake is equally important to help you achieve your weight loss goals as well as exercise. If you can choose the right exercises to maximize your calorie burnout and eat well for your body, keeping your calorie intake low, you will be able to reach your target and keep the weight off.
