How many times have you rushed around getting ready to leave and skipped breakfast? Later, you are starving so you eat too much or eat the wrong stuff. The good news is, New research indicates a big breakfast when you awake can help you lose weight.

Try to consume about half of your daily calories in this meal. Include lean protein, carbohydrates, and even chocolate. Researchers say that is what it takes, to lessen your cravings and hunger throughout the day. How can you lose weight eating a big breakfast?

a. Wake up, your metabolism is primed, cortisol, and adrenaline levels are at their highest. If your brain doesn’t get energy from food right away, an emergency response system is activated. It destroys muscle tissue as it consumes the energy. Later when you actually you’re your body saves the food energy as fat because your brain is still in high-alert mode.

b. Brush your teeth, shower, get dressed, and comb your hair. Don’t take too long, remember breakfast is more important.

c. Prepare a couple of slices of turkey bacon in the microwave to eat. In a hurry, toast some whole grain bread, add a slice of cheese, and the bacon, and walk out the door. Pour a bowl of Frosted shredded wheat cereal or other high fiber cereal or munch on it dry, it is delicious dry.
