The HCG diet hinges on sticking to the VLCD (very low calorie diet). Wandering off and incorporating non-approved foods can result in weight gain when the whole point is to lose. So accessing available recipes that make sticking to the strict diet possible is necessary for most dieters.

For lunch or dinner you could try Chicken in Tomatoes (although Beef works just as well). Grill your meat beforehand and have it ready to go. (Don’t forget to control your portion size). Slice up a couple tomatoes. You’ll be sauteing them on medium for about 5 minutes. During the cook time you need apply pressure repeatedly to the tomatoes with the back of a spoon or something similar. By the end of the 5 minute cook time you want your tomatoes to resemble a really thick spaghetti sauce. Next you add your meat. And last you add some seasonings…try garlic salt, onion salt and some Italian seasonings.
When you’re on a very low calorie diet like the one presented with the HCG diet making your foods count is vital. You will have a much higher success rate if you don’t feel deprived so having something interesting and filling on your plate makes a huge difference.
